Thomas S (br) wrote: A modern-day Spinal Tap, with heart.

Alberto M (us) wrote: "white trash" psictico, demente, brutal, duro. muito bom.

Christopher B (jp) wrote: Nice to see Van der Beek in a bad-guy role & Burton giving such a strong performance - as all the supporting actors do. A slightly better than average made-for-TV flick.

Vinny V (it) wrote: This was pathetic. I made it about 15 minutes in. It just could not hold my interest. The writing and directing sucks.

Farron K (br) wrote: Second time watching this. About the same as the first time. Good character development, solid cast, makes football seem like the greatest sport ever. The final showdown for the championship is portrayed just like the Superbowl. One thing I particularly like is how they go through bad times and get screwed over; it's not just another bland feel-good plotline. Definitely a good weekend movie.

WS W (jp) wrote: Odd but not all bad.

Giorgio P (de) wrote: Not as subtle as The Silence of the Lambs but this is a reviting and well made thrill ride with a brilliant cast

Tabatha T (fr) wrote: I loved this one but part 2 sucked.

Ryan C (es) wrote: what a beautiful film. susan sontag had mentioned this movie in an interview and i checked it out. i have since tried to seen all of Hou's films, and many of them dont come close to this one.

Woody W (it) wrote: Pretty lame quad of "terror" stories.Smoker meets killer and quits smoking, yeah right, for about 30 minutes. A video arcade (remember those?) player (Emilio Estevez) beats the 13th level of a game, and well, you can guess what happens.A priest loses his faith and meets the Chevy pickup truck from hell -- it actually drives underground.A man (Richard Masur) fights ratzilla -- horrible unspecial effects that make scifi movies of the 50's look high tech.Favorite scene: Emilio rocking to a huge BRICK tape playing walkman hooked to his hip -- I'm amazed he could keep his balance with an extra 40 lbs. hanging on his side.

Adam S (ca) wrote: This is the sort of film that is really impossible to hate. It doesn't have much in the way of substance, but the style and the comedy really shine through.Headlines by A-listers Burt Reynolds and Sally Field, much of the comedy from this film comes from the Sherrif played by Jackie Gleason, whose rabid pursuit of Reynold's Bandit character gets more and more insane as time gone on.The car chases are also quite fun, and clearly an inspiration for the Blues Brothers film a few years later, and really, despite what the critics of the time thought, this sort of film is just good old fashioned fun.

Robert R (ca) wrote: Legendary action icon Bruce Lee kicks all sorts of ass in "Enter The Dragon," a superior kung fu flick with amazing fight choreography and an electric atmosphere.

Jeffrey P (ru) wrote: A bit long, and Tony Randall seems an odd choice for the red-blooded, ambitious Hunter. Still, there's plenty of high style and silly cartoon gags from Warner Bros. alum Tashlin.
