At times the acting wasn't so great, but during battle emotions ran high and translated well on screen. The last 40 minutes are really powerful. This film also gets a thumbs up from me because visually its was stunning. Amazing effects and colors. Any shot could be blown up and framed. 300-esque in its story but at its core, a great war story I am glad I got to see.

The relationship she had with her friends was a bit odd but I wouldn't be surprised if other people had a similar relationship with their friends.I don't think it's that uncommon. But it was an interesting story/concept and you definitely won't get bored.

Pallavi S (jp) wrote: I liked it. A leisurely movie that observes Indian society after the British departed - a greater focus on indigenous Bollywood movies as opposed to classical English literature, men's attitudes towards independent women, loss of homeland for Anglo-Indians etc. Sensitively portrayal of characters.
Mark P (gb) wrote: The original dracula and the film that inspired horror movies to come. Wasn't very scary. It was fun how they kept using the same music over and over. only had about 5 pieces of music as it was a silent movie
