Mark C (it) wrote: I thought this was going to be a run of the mill drama, but it is actually an extremely graphic horror film. I was not aware that China was such a violent and dangerous place.

Venetia D (fr) wrote: It was funny, it was entertaining, it was quirky. I enjoyed it.

Joshua L (kr) wrote: It was funnier than I thought it'd be. Cool shit and well made.

David P (ca) wrote: As a major fan of Hong Kong action films from the '80s & '90s I would compare this to some of the sillier films starring Stephen Chow. I always preferred Sammo Hung, Jet Li and Jackie Chan myself. The film KRRISH had superior stunt work that was choreographed by Tony Ching Siu-Tung but for me the high watermark for imports from India is MAGADHEERA and CHANDNI CHOWK hardly comes close.

Mallory F (mx) wrote: I don't know why everyone hates this movie. It is glorious. Show it to your family and friends. The elves are beyond cute <3

Jon L (gb) wrote: worst stephen king adaptation ever. it has such a great cast too... what a shame.

Kyle K (nl) wrote: If Christopher Walken as McBain is anything like Ranier Wolfcastle as McBain, this movie by pure logic must rock.

Felix L (gb) wrote: Gripping from start till end. The movie stuck in my mind when I saw it on VHS in my youth but never sure why until I watched it again recently. I didnt even go for this type of film back then. The script is good, but on its own not great. What seems to make this movie ahead of others in this genre is the great performances by assante and the way the director brings all the characters out out and enhances the atmosphere. One of the top crime movies of the late 80's although it says 1991.

Jamie C (it) wrote: When the punches are flying it's a good film, But the acting was very wooden and it seemed they made up half the plot on the spot and it dragged every scene as long as they could.
