The performances were ok, nothingless than expected from Danny Dyer but still good performances. The film itself was trying to connect everyone to each which you could work out on your own but it wasn't exactly "Done Well". Forgettable film.

(es) wrote: This made-for-TV mini-series was kind of similar to "The Odyssey," though I'm not that surprised, it did came from the same studio, Hallmark Entertainment, but somehow, the film was kind of off. I felt I was watching a badly made film with a badly acted cast. I was hoping the film could get at least a little better, but it kind of didn't. I have to be honest, I still prefer the Disney animated version of this attempt. The film's visuals and art direction were exciting, but the special effects were just sad. The film's cast was alright, nothing to rave about, but they at least fit the characters' description, so I have to give the film's some kudos for that.
(nl) wrote: This movie is flat out funny because of Robin William's performance and has a really good message about family and love. The movie seems long at times but you can't deny watching Williams' hilarious portrayal as a British nanny.
(mx) wrote: What I really like about this movie is the art, particularly the backgrounds. They are lush and dreamy and you wanna walk around in them. Also the character designs and motion are very good. Definite Ralph Bakshi vibe, but less 'anger' in the strokes, if that makes any sense. The real problem with this movie is that the storytelling is is too bare-bones. There isn't enough character development or conflict. His relationships with the other animals aren't fleshed out enough. This needed another 20-25 minutes. Which makes sense, since it's 78 minutes long. Check it out, though. It's clear Rodney's heart was in it. He produced it, wrote it, and stars in it.

(nl) wrote: The idea is interesting but the way they went about making this made the story very unbelievable and corny.
(jp) wrote: Decent movie, though a lot of the plot elements didn't make much sense. The hacking stuff was not believable, but I was able to suspend my disbelief since it's a Die Hard movie and such things are to be expected. It hardly compares with the previous films in the series, but I was able to have fun with it towards the end, and the chemistry between Mclane and his hacker buddy was definitely there. The CGI was awful in some parts and really stood out, even for 2007. Not a movie I would watch again, but you may as well check it out if you're a fan of the series.
