(ag) wrote: Pretty weird movie, just a fat kid that hates himself and runs into this weird guy that wants to form a band. It was cool seeing how the story develops with his dad that is very strict and not liking his friend. I felt this moved pretty slow at times and only gave you a few laughs. It was pretty weird at points but the music was pretty good. It was a decent movie, not the best that they could've done. It was cool seeing when he starts to learn drums, all the concert scenes were cool I just wish there was more There were a few things I wish they built on more that made you wonder rather than not really touching them. It was good but pretty slow.

(kr) wrote: Standard rock concert footage, like having the concert and interviews/behind the scenes stuff filmed separately. Not the Stones' best compilation.
(au) wrote: A fun, imaginative kids film that's actually held up relatively well. It's never looked the best, but that doesn't stop it from having the clever writing and unique characters it needs to tell its story.
(br) wrote: Nice historical epic about (apparently) the Kazakh national hero. The nice things: beautiful steppe scenery, exotic dialogue, beautiful Asian girl. The less nice things: Western actors to play the lead roles (why???), linear story, blah blah by Nursultan Nazarbaev before the credits! But overall an OK film, a must see for history buffs and for lovers of the Big Steppe.

"Stay Hungry" is a odd little movie, it starts of as a drama and ends in a comedy of complete silliness. Hardly interesting enough to be worth your time, but worth pointing out is that Arnold Schwarzenegger won a Golden Globe Award for "Best Acting Debut in a Motion Picture" for his role as the violin playing, superhero masked Mr. Universe Joe Santo.

(nl) wrote: Really interesting Soviet thriller. Hurt does a magnificent job as Chief Inspector Renko, and Lee Marvin is superb in one of his last film roles. There is great chemistry between characters and terrific dialogue. I enjoyed watching the plot unfold to discover who was cheating who for what and why.
