Graia B (es) wrote: It makes me laugh that some critics say this film is unremarkable; probably the same who give four stars to X Men

Tom A (jp) wrote: The music background is incessant, rising in volume to match the voice volume during the most important meetings and dialog exchanges. Churchill cannot even sit in his own bedroom quietly talking to his wife without the music coming up and basically drowning out his dialog. This is a well directed and acted movie, with terrific camera and lighting, but we lost much of the good dialog due to the music score. My wife working in another room even asked if it was mostly music as she had not heard hardly any dialog one room away.

David D (br) wrote: 03/10/10 2002 If not for some bad acting and lines this movie would have been perfect. It is unique to me in that it is in the vein of Jumanji yet it is a genuine horror flick. A good movie to see but be sure to leave the lights on.

Arseniy V (ru) wrote: A highly interesting and engrossing character study.

Helen B (de) wrote: One of the most original films you are ever likely to see... not everyone will appreciate its strange quirkiness, but it is beautifully shot, intelligent, well scripted, and just in general a visual delight. It also shows the versatility of Karl Urban, who tends to be cast as action/villain by Hollywood

Cathal O (mx) wrote: this was the last film i saw on TV, it was on rte the other night... anyway it was entertaining but kinda grossed me out with the end sequence (head exploding like a melon!)...badly done fx shot...uhh, what a mess! glorified TV movie basically..wit don johnson ;)

Matthew H (us) wrote: I love Batman Returns, It's my favorite Batman movie of all time.Keaton is better and shows more of Batman and the direction by Tim Burton is gothic and epic as now.

Private U (ru) wrote: It gives a glimpse of the changing mood in the racial relations of the 60s. Tragic, but important for its glimpse into the perspective of those we would rather ignore.

Mangala B (us) wrote: This movie always in my memory, song in this film is my favourite song.

Colton C (mx) wrote: Hayride is exactly what you expect it to be. Slow and boring. But I suggest you score some 420 and take a seat. Under the influence, the movie isn't half bad. You kind of forget the color balance is off from shot to shot and there are enough audio errors to make any film buff cringe but it's actually really f*cking funny. The main guy's accent is so awful it's funny which is what I have to say about his girlfriend's acting. The gore is kind of lackluster and obviously super duper low budget (doesn't show gore sometimes, just sound fx and suspense which is okay on occasion). Anywho the plot lingers around the tale of PITCHFORK, some hillbilly ass mother f*cker with a burlap sack over his head. Apparently he kills people with something...So Bad Accent's uncle runs a locally renowned Hayride of horror type of thing which equals lots of screaming kids who don't know what's real or fake which equals gratuitous gore (of which I am keen on). Like I said before, give it a chance if you're really high and bored and can appreciate no-budget horrors that are good because they're so bad!*would compare to FIVE ACROSS THE EYES , which is an even more awful movie. I actually wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't trying to make horror movies. If you are and you're feeling insecure about whether or not you can actually make a decent horror movie, check out this pile of sh*t and thank me for boost of confidence!
