AWESOME REVENGE MOVIE!!! THANK GOD FOR CHARLES BAND WHO CREATED MEDIA HOME ENTERTAINMENT and then WIZARD VIDEO; I saw this when I was 12 in 1983 on VHS -- I used to rent movies from Home Video Center in Newtown Square, PA located on St. Alban's Circle and MEL'S PHARMACY on West Chester Pike in Broomall, Pennsylvania. (I had to walk two miles each way from both stores because I hate riding bicycles after having an accident). Anyway, Duane and his brother Belial are AWESOME in this and the sequels TOTALLY BLOW compared to this gem. You know, I only live two hours from Glens Falls, New York where Duane and Belial are from and the first murder takes place. What a GREAT, GRIND-HOUSE MOVIE . . . HOTEL BROSLIN , AWESOME!!!!! Frank Henenlotter is A GENIUS . . . Belial is an old obscure English term for killer, murderer

Their methods range from coddling to cajoling, sympathizing to browbeating, but in the end it's all about moving the merch: here, the word of god, but it could've just as easily been aluminum siding. Standout scenes are the Badger losing his way in Opa-locka and the Bull's sale to a hapless couple as a warped LP of a 101 Strings cover of "Yesterday" blares on a console hifi.

Jon M (mx) wrote: Nice to see that Sci-Fi Channel movies used to get theatrical releases. This is an hour of decent, if completely implausible disaster movie action and 35 minutes of vaguely dire soap opera type stuff. Worth a watch if you've got nothing else in your Netflix Instant queue.
Les E (de) wrote: Wonderful characters but the story was too disjointed.
Maria S (fr) wrote: Its a great movie. The only reason people are giving it negative votes is because it shows us how much hypocrisy goes into political correctness. Today NO ONE DARES to have a black character be anything but a good guy. They certainly can't be a monster. This movie portrays people realistically, and people are angry.
