David B (it) wrote: After reading the insightful article in Newsweek, I am very much intrigued to see how Angelina Jolie portrays the story, the details of the Bosnian war and the abhorrence that took place during the separation of Yugoslavia. I know very little about the events that took place during this time, but because of the article, I am inspired to learn the reality and the causality for such atrocious and inhuman acts.

Frances H (ru) wrote: Slowest, dullest, stupidest excuse for a mystery that I've ever seen. How anyone can find everyday dull conversation dragged out ad nauseous and people driving around in cars as interesting character development is beyond me. In a 1 hour 45 minute movie to spend 30 minutes before the plot even starts to develop characters who have no character is just stupid. The most boring movie I've I've ever seen.

Ricky P (it) wrote: Wild Hogs is goofy, stupid and at times very cliched but the cast and the films killer soundtrack keep things moving. It's not a laugh out loud comedy but it's also not a boring one

Petros T (ru) wrote: "AV:PD" has a rather slim plot and nothing earth-shattering in the jokes department, but Jim Carrey's charisma more than rescues the film. His overblown eccentricity might not be for everyone - and in truth he's pushing it really hard on this one -, but his dedication, animated facial expressions, voice stylings and intense movement bring life to each half-funny gag and line and, finally, the entire film. Without him "AV" would probably bomb -- with him it is turned into a very pleasant comedy.

Edgar Y (ca) wrote: much better if it's a short film within 20 min or so.

Justin T (ag) wrote: Ambition is the key in this movie, both Fitzcaraldo's and Werner Herzog's ambition. A bit slow in the beginning, this movie picks up once they get on the river. Beautifully shot with some of the most memorable images in cinema, this is a great movie.

charles b (it) wrote: A classic in every sense of the word. This film transcends generations, exploring a unique dynamic between two lonely characters that tugs at the hurt strings.

K D (ag) wrote: Excellent film and another fine product in the combo of Gable and Crawford. This movie was filled with so much symbolism and religious tones, it sort of surprised me, but in a good way. You can plainly see why it was denounced the way it was back in 1940 but it is still an all around great film. The plot is interesting and the way each character seems to grow and eventually discover something within themselves gives the film a good taste. Can never go wrong with the chemistry between Crawford and Gable, and that played well here. Powerful acting by Gable however, and one of his nastiest film roles, but you still couldn't help but cheer for him. Ian Hunter gave a great performance. No matter what your views are religiously, this film, in a film aspect, was one of the better ones.

Aaron G (es) wrote: Not something I will ever watch again. But probably required viewing for anyone wanting to go into film. Soul-scarring, spirit-crushing, required-viewing.

When life is different on the other side, some that has its good but has its bad. When life means taking life in order to stay alive. When what makes us alive is power but rather not die even without it when staying alive is better. When who we are and what we do we have no life after. When we are and what we had to do we remain alive, not what we expected but alive. When life is not what we intended, but we settle to a life that's worth living we make the best of it when we are young. When so much life has been taken for no reason, no power, nothing. When humans crave so much power and money that they are willing to take a life to get it. When life is different out here and the way people do things is the only means to life with what little there is. When life is for the living and those whom manage to escape can change their fate have the opportunity to make the most of it. When those whom can't escape this dismal life have to face it head on or accept it's fate. When life is unknown how long we have and for others they know it's over. When life is worth fighting for we do so. When we don't know what life we run into running and whom joins us and impacts us that others dont have such fate. When life is full of life's stories and memories that we have and carry on their life as long as we have a breath to do so. When this is our life's work that we choose to remain to the very end, regardless how it's fate might be. When we cannot trust or rely on others to have power to judge or rule our life we fight for a cause, we fight for power and we fight for our livlihood. When our life is cut short from a boy to a man we learn a new life. When we have a choice to stand up to life in front of people whom have no regard for life, in a place where little life grows or exists that makes life hard to survive at all. When life is sweet with victory that awakens the beast in you that makes feel alive when it's power you crave the most. When we saved your life to give you a second chance twice from a life on earth to hell to heaven.Visuals-5Directing-5Music-5Screenplay-5Acting-5Level of Interest-5Complexity-5Timing-5Twist & Turns-5Message-5
