The storyline is a bit difficult to follow in the beginning, and after a few double-crosses it really does not matter. Fine acting and penty of violence keeps this story rolling. I enjoyed watching it despite its flaws!
Jen M (jp) wrote: Evelyn is about a father, Pierce Brosnan, who fights to have the custody off his children after the mother abandons then. Set in the '20s in Ireland, around that time if a mother died or left her children their father wasn't allowed to take care of his children, but Desmond Doyle fights for the right to get his children back and he won't stop at nothing. Because of his fight, he changed a nation.
