Loa A (jp) wrote: Not a comedy despite the cast. Character arc is erratic and wobbly at best. Poor depiction of a brother and sister reconciling for all the wrong reasons, polluted with a earthy but flaky love interest that doesn't really make sense and best friend who flip-flops from noncommittal to upset about being noncommittal... I'm a fan of character-driven scripts but this one full of moody outbursts that don't seem to go anywhere. Hard to watch.

Mike D (gb) wrote: A very interesting study in character acting. A lot of people consider the term 'character actor' to have negative connotations I however love character actors and my favourite performers and performances are in the vein of this misunderstood term.Spacey's directorial debut is a very good one. It's snappy opening quickly hits the breaks and becomes a tense drawn out stalemate between our protagonists and the police reminiscent of Dog Day Afternoon. While the cast is enjoyable all round for me it's the loose canon played by William Fichtner and the scared but defiantly sassy Faye Dunaway that become the most memorable. An esoteric title to be sure but a very appropriate one as you will find out.

Rodney E (mx) wrote: A movie like this came right at the perfect time in my life to help formulate taste in movies an accepting what I thought was good and what I thought sucked. I was 8 when this came out so I probably saw it a year or two later when it came out on video. I definitely didn't think that it was funny in the slightest. Oddly enough I remember kids saying that this was funny. Ski Patrol is an incredibly forgettable movie that offers a tamed down version of the Animal House-Police Academy-Porky's-What have you variety for the ski slopes. It's lame.

AntwonFisher (de) wrote: JEEZ i wish theyd come to their senses and DVD this one! it definatly needs respect! THIS MOVIE is soOO00Oo good i cant believe its not on dvd! The plot- a famous actress has worked with her well-known director- Stryker for ages and naturally asumes she has been given the title role of 'audra' in his latest play who suffers with psyciatric help. To help understand the role better she commits herself to an asylum to 'know' what audra knows. When stryker stops visiting her she wonders why. He is living the good life surrounded by promising young and dedicated actresses auditioning for audra. When she escapes from the asylum~ the 6 actresses chosen fall prey to a merciless hag-masked clad stalker. All will be revealed when the 'curtains' fall for the final showdown. Very VERY extremely WELL DONE!! applause!!

Bloodmarsh K (mx) wrote: Predictable bland crime drama - with no twist at all. The very least these films can do, is try to fool the viewer. But unless you're Forrest Gump, you won't be fooled by anything this stinker has to offer.
