Kan T (kr) wrote: Very stupid... looks like HK films in the 80s... typical Indian dance and Deepika are the only good things... others just suck... big suck...

John R (kr) wrote: With its impressive look and story combined with its bland characters and boring dialogue, and also having nothing to do with the source material, Final Fantasy: Spirits Within is the definition of mediocre.

Lisa B (gb) wrote: Amanda Donohoe NAKED! That's a bloody good reason to watch this movie, and it was, and it's why I love it!! Shame Oliver Reed is in it too. Maybe they should remake it as a lesbian movie. Yummy!

Connor G (es) wrote: Easily one of Eastwood's darkest Westerns, and helps destroy the ideals of the Western genre, as it fully intended to do.

Morris N (es) wrote: I know I saw it and it was okay, but I don't remember much about it.

MF J (it) wrote: Peter Jackson retell the story of this giant ape trapped on a mysterious island and being brought back to the main land by a film crew. It's fast, well written, no dead time, great CGI & special effects. The cast is really great and the film a great success... in my opinion better than the 1933 original but if i say that some people might skin me alive, so keep it for yourself.

Cam E (it) wrote: Bean:The Movie is not as good as it could have been, people were probably expecting a little bit more but it is not a bad film at all. I thought the laughs were good and I think there is a good cast with good acting. The plot was okay. It got a little boring at times, some parts were a little over the top. But at the end of the day it is a pretty okay film, it isn't the best and there could be some improvements to this film which might have helped it improve it's current score but all around I think it is a good family film.

Paul N (ag) wrote: Well that was really fun! Just a properly good film, with great visuals and a brilliant story.

James J (jp) wrote: after i watched the trailer to this flick i thought great but after watching it i haveva very diffrent view it was a very very slow flick that didnt really go anywhere and the ending was crap i had high hopes for this flick sadley it did not live up to the hype shame coz i really like luke goss 4/10

Daniel C (it) wrote: Fun watch, though confusing at some points throughout, there were some bad scene transitions. All in all in was entertaining and as good as westerns get.

Ola G (gb) wrote: In 1919, just after World War I has ended, Joshua Connor (Russell Crowe), an Australian farmer and water diviner is in limbo. His three sons Arthur (Ryan Corr), Edward (James Fraser), and Henry (Ben O'Toole) served with the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) at the Battle of Gallipoli four years previously and are presumed dead. After his wife Eliza commits suicide out of grief, Joshua resolves to bring his sons' bodies home and bury them with their mother. Joshua travels to Turkey and stays in a hotel in Istanbul run by war-widowed Ayshe (Olga Kurylenko), but is unable to travel to Gallipoli by road. Learning the purpose of his journey, Ayshe tells him to bribe a local fisherman to travel to Gallipoli by boat. When he arrives, Joshua learns that ANZACs are engaged in a mass burial detail and all civilians are banned. Major Hasan (Y?lmaz Erdo?an), a Turkish officer assisting the ANZACs, persuades the ANZAC captain Lt-Col Cyril Hughes (Jai Courtney) to prioritize helping Joshua with his search. After finding Edward and Henry's graves, Joshua sees in his dreams that Arthur survives the battle. Hasan recognizes Joshua's surname and tells him that Arthur may have been taken prisoner..."The Water Diviner" is Russell Crowes debut as a director and too be honest he shows that he has much to learn to master the craft of being a director. The film suffers uninspired and at times amateurish direction that creates a severe limp in the film. Apparently a big hit back home in Australia with praise from both audiences and critics alike as the story of the patriotic battle of Gallipoli and the aftermath is something emotional and strong in the hearts of Australians. However, it fails to emotionally engage you as the whole project suffers from as said an amateurish vibe unfortunately with poor dialogue, poor acting and all the clichs you can imagine. As in other cases "The Water Diviner" also suffers from not knowing what it wants to be. Is it a family drama, a love story, a war piece? Theres quite nice cinematography on display in the film, but then again if the rest isnt up to scratch that doesnt really matter as it drops of the map in the film. This is just a hit and miss with an interesting backstory but fails in every way to communicate it properly to an audience. Better luck next time Mr. Crowe.
