Granted yeah it at least tells ya a story & you might like me start thinking of making up an emergency kit (Flashlights, glad bags for important papers/books cash, clothes etc.) So it gets to your fears & gives ya little paranoia. For that I like because weather a syfy or horror movie horror in particular is suppose to do that & its hard to find a movie (esp. made for Syfy) that will do that. So normally those movies get a d or f this one I'll give a C+ to. (regardless of the long time but I think it was shown on tv in 2-3 separate instalments. The disk was straight out)

There are plenty of classic scenes, though a bit-dated by today's standards that will make you giggle shamelessly. To me, the Mancini score takes the movie up a notch too!

The music, romance and drama in the first part of the film is enjoyable enough, but for my money the film really come to life after the quake hits. I know for many critics this is a classic, but for whatever reason I've never been that big of a Gable fan and he kind of drags down the enjoyment factor of films for me the same way Tom Cruise does now.
