You Don't Mess with the Zohan
An Israeli counterterrorism soldier with a secretly fabulous ambition to become a Manhattan hairstylist. Zohan's desire runs so deep that he'll do anything -- including faking his own death and going head-to-head with an Arab cab driver -- to make his dreams come true.
Zohan Dvir works as a Special Agent and lives with his orthodox parents in Israel. He wants to give up this life full of dangerous encounters with Palestinians. While in the process of apprehending a Palestinian activist known simply as the Phantom, he fakes his death, hides in a dog-kennel on a plane bound for New York, and decides to try his hand as a hair-stylist. He is refused employment initially, but when he offers to work for free, Dahlia hires him as a cleaner. When a hair-stylist named Debbie quits, Zohan replaces her, winning over elderly female clientèle, and falling in love with Dahlia herself. Before Zohan could propose to her, Dahlia's landlord, Walbridge, who has been raising rents regularly, hires skinhead goons to terrorize the neighborhood, creates misunderstandings between Jews, Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians, and drives them out, so as to enable him to construct a new building which is topped by a roller coaster. When Zohan decides to confront these skinheads, he... . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

I don't know why you'd need to though, the teenage romance and the feelings behind it all coupled with an aurora borealis-like sunset will MAKE YOU CRYThe soundtrack along with the art is stunning also. Anyone who likes animation in the slightest should watch.

Then one day the person he is following, Cobb, catches him and confronts him. Cobb then introduces him to his strange hobby - burglary...Incredibly original, clever and intriguing. Starts fairly innocently enough but the tension ramps up the further you go. Great twists towards the end.Writer-director Christopher Nolan, directing his first feature film, shows an amazing confidence in his screenplay and direction, despite the limited resources at his disposal (apparently the film cost only $6,000 to make). Great use of back-and-forth time jumps, so that you get leaked the backstory, rather than spoon-fed it. He would take the time-jump technique to the extreme in his next movie (see later). The low budget does show up in the production values, but this doesn't hurt the movie much.Performances are mostly okay. I found Alex Haw a bit stiff as Cobb but the others are fine. While Nolan's debut film was intelligent and original, his next movie was even better. It was mind-blowingly brilliant - original beyond comparison with scenes in reverse order. That movie would be Nolan's finest and one of the greatest movies of all time (#2 on my all-time list) - Memento.

Even in the face of impending freedom, the dialogue and apparent range of emotions seems to remain fairly constant. In the end you have a solid, well-performed film, that isn't really memorable in any way.

There are countless plot holes, such as the other two astronauts completely disappearing. There's little tension because the audience knows what's going on, and the ending doesn't give nearly enough resolution for something this big. Call Tony Scott and get it remade.
