Eric R (es) wrote: This is an autobiographical story of Terrence Davies and it is told to perfection. The film dives head first into the mechanics of memory, showing us different viewpoints and stories that contradict each other at times. Due to these conflicting memories, no character in the story is simplistic or one-dimensional. The shot compositions and cinemintography create this dream like landscape that is perfect for the material. This film is a masterpiece fo'sho.
Chandrahasa R (ca) wrote: Hilarious movie about a bunch of incompetent british agents in a secret mission. The movie is childish and slapstick in moments but is equally brilliant in quality at other times. A perfect watch when you need a cheer up.
Arturo S (br) wrote: Unlike Scorsese, who from his very first feature you could tell how intresting his craft was, Copola's first feature film is an exploitation film with not much interest besides the fact that it was directed by "Francis Coppola" (I guess he added the Ford later on).
Neil O (ru) wrote: One of Doris Day's lesser known movies and the one of only two thrillers she ever appeared in (the other being Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much".) Besides Day, the film features Rex Harrison and a cast of well-known faces like Myrna Loy as bubbly "Aunt Bea" and Roddy McDowall as a ruthless schemer. Midnight Lace is an effective little thriller, with a good script and good performances, and would certainly deserve more recognition.

Samuel H (jp) wrote: Frank Capra is certainly a master. I will say that I'm not in love with Clark Gable's performance as much as I was with James Stewart. Even so, It Happened One Night is wonderful. It's amazing witty and quite charming. For such an old movie, it has so much charm. A excellent watch for anyone who has the guts to watch a movie so old.

Beth M (au) wrote: Not a conventional movie, "What Dreams May Come" is an exquisite, impressionistic work of art. It addresses mortality, the afterlife, love, family, art, beauty, and fate. Don't try to over analyze it , just feel the emotional journey, and the love that can not be defeated by death.
