Youth Runs Wild torrent reviews

Owen B (ca) wrote: What an amazing film to watch, David Bradley is emotionally very poignant as William Hartnell, giving the defining performance of his career! Definitely mandatory viewing for everyone, even if you're not familiar with Doctor Who, this is one of, if not the best, docudrama that I have ever watched. Check it out via iTunes!

Caroline T (de) wrote: Banal, pointless and mind numbing. Typically an expose of Woody Allen's all too familiar self absorbed obsession with neurosis. I guess this movie was supposed to be witty, ironic and amusing but it was just tedious.

Brian F (ag) wrote: The ensemble cast makes up for the shortcomings (and exaggerations) of this story about a salesman who sticks it to The Man.

Bill B (nl) wrote: This one is the epitome of the phrase 'does what it says on the tin'; you know exactly what you're getting into from the word go. Some of the barely there cameos could've honestly been excised altogether without really missing out on anything, but overall it was a fun little watch and will probably be one of those movies I find myself getting fished into on cable, just because it's a fun ride..Plus it's amusing to see all these guys try to out-quirk one another for an entire film, so give that a look to see who's the corniest, as they all have their silly moments.Give it a rental.

JY S (us) wrote: Based off of a novel by Novala Takemoto, Tetsuya Nakashima's Kamikaze Girls is a Japanese comedy that comes full of style. At first glance, this picture looks like a 1 hour 40 minute girlish movie. Sure, it does have elements of that, but there is much more to the film that makes it watchable by guys and girls alike. The first 15 minutes throws everything on the floor and lays it out just as fast. The pacing is frantic, yet manageable, as the lead character, Momoko, builds up her story. Gradually things settle down, just a bit, as the main plot takes off.The story of two unlikely friends is good on its own, but Nakashima's directing is absolutely worthy of note. He knows what he wants out of every scene and he gets it. Scene transitions, quirky dialogue, and colorful settings light up the film from beginning to end. Both the beautiful Kyoko Fukada and Anna Tsuchiya put on stellar performances and they have no problem putting this film on their shoulders. No wonder this film is as good as it is. The supporting cast is also great, despite being overshadowed by the two leads.Kamikaze Girls is a director's dream that shines on many levels. It is a highlight in Japanese movie making.

Dammy G (nl) wrote: Truly one of those awful sequels to a great movie.

Wes S (fr) wrote: A lot of nothing. A cruddy plot, terrible and stupid characters, and bad effects. The ape doesn't even grow huge until the last 15 minutes, and the army shoots it down quickly. The rest of the film is uninteresting and dumb.

Ben W (au) wrote: melville and cocteau always seemed like a bit of an odd pairing to me and while some of it is effective, for the most part this film falls flat. the climax would have been really interesting had the rest of the movie built to that moment but it didnt and so we are left to pick up the pieces. there is some great camera placement and other artistic choices but the 2 main characters are pretty hard to stomach, and im one who generally enjoys films with unlikable characters as long as they seem human.
