This Christian themed adventure is better than most Christian themed efforts and yet and still aggravates (like most of them), this one for the number of bad decisions acted on, one after another.
Debra P (it) wrote: I loved this movie! Deeply moving story about the passion of youth, the lasting connection between destiny and earthly time. I put this third in my favorite movies this year: The Grand Budipest Hotel, Birdman and The Girl and Death. If this had a Julia Roberts American star, this movie would be getting a lot more attention. That said, timelessness is poetic only in the hearts of lovers. Aliens, zombies, robots and horror geeks won't find a moment to grab here--athough it is a story locked in the ghosts of a lost path, which still has earthly intrigue to those who know its truths. The actors in this piece are all perfection.

Colin F (es) wrote: Up until recently had never heard of this film and I thought I had seen most of the Hammer Horror??s. This comes from a period when Hammer Films where in Decline, but this film is far from that, its original, different and very good. Rita Tushingham is superb as the Lonely Plain Jane who leaves Liverpool to go to London to find a fella to have a baby! Oh boy does she pick the wrong one! In the form of the disturbing Shane Bryant, who??s portrayal really is mad!. Fast paced and surreal editing make this a very different film, the only disappointment was the unresolved ending still very good and a pleasant surprise.
Kristy P (ru) wrote: Good point about the movie...Val Kilmer was in it. Bad point about the movie...just about everything else. I do admit it was VERY suspenseful, and definitely an interesting watch, but I can't call it good. I was distrustful of the main female character the whole time, so I couldn't really let myself like her. And all the other characters besides Val were pretty much pointless or weird (like the psychotic ex-boyfriend of the female character).
