Zara Si Zindagi

Remake of Balachander's Tamil hit Varumayin Niram Sivappu, Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Rakesh, a graduate looking for work in capital, sharing a small home with two other unemployed youth. He falls in love with a struggling actress, whose life is likewise wretched. Fairly unrelenting grim view of urban unemployment, with the usual dose of Balachander moralizing. An interesting study of the perception of government.

Surendra K (br) wrote: NICE film all should watch once .........some drawback many places improvement need in climax

Funciona cojonudamente.

Heather M (mx) wrote: This was a wonderful and sad story. This cast was amazing and the movie is a must see.

Gwenyth L (kr) wrote: It was entertaining...and had some good plot elements...but went wat over the top and just made it stupid. Good for a laugh or two though.

Charles P (au) wrote: Wolf Creek is a cheap exercise in gratuitous violence and sadism.

Roderick B (mx) wrote: The story of the daughter of a career politician who is neglected due to her mothers dream of becoming the first female president and a Catholic teacher who was also mistreated by her parents. Although the script is well written it still lacks in detail. I liked the very relevant poetic refrences and other qoutes in the film. The photography is good as is the music. Well worth watching if you have a open mind.

James K (us) wrote: Very different Singleton, but none the less still a great movie. Some scenes are hard to watch especially knowing this is a true story.

Alexander C (br) wrote: Could be worth a viewing, would like to see it sometime in the future.

Brynn H (au) wrote: This was good, about an FBI agent investigating arson in an amish community

Luke P (jp) wrote: Sometimes stupid can be very clever, and sometimes stupid is just plain stupid. Italian spoof The Silence of the Hams certainly fits into the latter. As the pun of a title suggests, this film spoofs Silence of the Lambs mainly, as well as Hitchcock's Psycho, with varying degrees of quality. It follows the usual spoof strategy of constantly throwing gags at the viewer and seeing what sticks. This results in some very funny sight gags, and some excruciatingly bad ones, so a mixed bag indeed. Billy Zane is a game comedian though, and I would definitely like to see him try more comedy. Not as good as the spoof classics Airplane! or The Naked Gun, but miles better than recent crap like Date/ Epic/ Disaster Movie.

Conor B (mx) wrote: Wonderful color and composition in an otherwise boring, rambling story.

Andrew M (kr) wrote: I feel like this film desperately wants to have a message but no one could come up with one when they were writing it. Doesn't make a lot of sense and if you ever do piece anything together the film will soon render it pointless. For Connery nappy aficionados only

Wade H (ca) wrote: Somewhat uncomfortable with most vulgar topics and the few scenes are off-putting. But there is great writing and acting at the core. Smith crafts another good flick with heart intentionally covered with sexual exploitation. The comedy is spot on.
