Leah S (ru) wrote: Like a beautiful, sad dream-in slow motion. The photography is mesmerizing, and elicits feelings of hopelessness and thoughts of human and animal suffering. The story is not really meant to leave you with any clarity; however it combines spirituality and surrealism flawlessly.

Jeffrey M (ca) wrote: A very entertaining and funny movie. A nerd named Bradley Brinkman has never been in love and later on meets Dr. D, who gives him a new body and becomes Hunk Golden, he gets fame but later learns something about himself. Steve Levitt is awesome as Bradley Brinkman and John Allen Nelson as Hunk Golden. James Coco, Deborah Shelton, and Avery Schreiber also help make this film great.
Alex H (kr) wrote: There are an unbelievable amount of coming of age films knocking about and despite fairly high level acting performances from Sean Penn (a guy who I usually can't stand) and the awesome Nicolas Cage (always great when playing a guy with a questionable level of sanity) there isn't really a great deal that is memorable about Racing with the Moon to separate it from any of the rest.

Ashley H (jp) wrote: Although I do love this film--in short it is a bit boring. I loved the period costumes and sets and the acting, but storyline lacked any real excitement!! Katherine Hepburn was fine but any real passion in the acting department has to go to Fredric March. The supporting players were good in their parts, especially Florence Eldridge as Queen Elizabeth. It is a nice film, but a tad too long and boring!
Nico B (ru) wrote: Fly Away Home is a sweet, touching story about the relationship between a young girl and her father who teaches orphaned geese to fly, thanks to its wonderful direction by Carroll Ballard, strong performances by Jeff Daniels and Anna Paquin, and a very well-written story that makes great family fun!
Ben C (ru) wrote: An unrelenting and merciless film that shows no mercy on the cast, especially Jack Lemmon, based on a well-regarded David Mamet play, which surprisingly gets the job done. And compelling performances from Al Pacino and Jack Lemmon, to name a few, bring the whole thing home.
