Patrick M (kr) wrote: This is easily Adkins' best role and one of Van Damme's better movies. JCVD is great as a cold blooded killer and Adkins is great as the tracig hero out for revenge. Adkins is young and new in the action game, while JCVD had been here for years. Adkins shows here that he can hold his own with living legends such as Jean-Claude.

Rocket Singh is not a sleezy Bollywood comedy but rather an inspiring story for the young bugs of what matters more in todays ruthless work environments. You can enjoy this movie to the hilt as you get pulled in to the script. Good Watch..

Sweet Poetic R (gb) wrote: it seems like all movies that is dealing with airplanes is being hijacked that the storyline is almost the same....but i'm glad the ending wasn't so bad....now the hijacker killed a few people but i'm glad that the ending wasn't all a tragedy.....but i bet these passengers won't be in any kind of hurry to fly again....actually it was a bad flight from the start to the end...
Grant S (kr) wrote: Not great, but nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Has all the trappings of a b-grade 80s exploitation movie - outlandish plot, cheap props and even cheaper actors. Yet it is reasonably entertaining. Despite its far-out plot, it is reasonably coherent and not as random as most b-grade movies. Direction is fluid and the story doesn't drift. Most importantly, the director(s) follows the first rule of film-making - if you can't make a good movie, make a short movie (James Cameron take note).Acting is, as expected, quite wooden. Lead actor is a professional wrestler! Not Citizen Kane, but reasonably good fun.

Panayiota K (es) wrote: More intense than i expected, a lot of issues displayed. James Dean was great and you would think that his character was going to be the biggest rebel. Nope, he was really sweet and the real rebels were fucking idiots!
Tanner B (de) wrote: Caddyshack (1980) C-98m. ?? D: Harold Ramis. Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray, Ted Knight, Michael O'Keefe. Feeble comedy, in the vain of Saturday Night Live, presents many hijinks but few laughs. Weirdos meet in golf course where anything is possible (sounds much funnier than it is). Dangerfield provides the only real laughs; when he's on-screen, film becomes amusing, when he's not, film becomes dreary. Better than ANIMAL HOUSE, but destruction and irrelevance cannot take place of real humor. Followed by a sequel.
Douglas C (gb) wrote: Director John Singleton's spiritual follow-up to his unanimously acclaimed debut feature "Boyz n the Hood" doesn't pack the same progressive smack down that that movie did but it still succeeds in being hilariously entertaining. While it relies more on fast-talking one-liners and rapport from a cohesive cast and elaborately staged shootouts, the movie hits home for those viewers who have ever lost a close parent or guardian and what they would ultimately do to avenge them. At under two hours, the movie really makes the most of its trim running time and keeps the exposition to a minimum. This approach is a double-edged sword, however, because it would have been more satisfying from a character development standpoint if the film utilized the use of flashback to make each of the four brothers more multidimensional. Out of the principal cast, Tyrese Gibson ("Fast and the Furious" franchise) and newcomer Garrett Hedlund (2010's "Tron: Legacy" and 2012's "On The Road") captivate the most while 2013 Best Actor nominee for "12 Years A Slave" Chiwetel Ejiofor portrays a very effective, scenery-chomping big bad gang leader. All totaled, this film provides a brisk viewing experience even though it never aspires for true greatness.
