Eric N (it) wrote: low budget movie but pretty good. i didn't see the original but i liked this. some undercranking was hysterical unfortunately. but i came to watch scott adkins and he ruled. i was impressed with his acting also. fights were awesome. it felt like they were trying to make Fist of Legend but MMA! Did pretty good job. Even with the story too. This is probably only a 2.5 star movie but because it's straight to video, i will go to 3.5 cause it's a pretty strong flick considering that. From good ol' New Line.

Simon D (fr) wrote: A good story, who'd have thought that the Cartman/Scott Tennerman fued was based on Shakespeare. Possibly the best Shako adaptation I've seen. It's weirdly done in a sort of Baz Luhrmann style where the period of the piece is ignored totally resulting in a mixture of old and new, which doesn't often work but I think it does in this. At least it didn't have Kylie Minogue singing Nirvana songs. Be prepared to concentrate very hard on the Shakespearian dialogue for over 2 and half hours. It does take some doing, but it's worth it.

Sanford R (ru) wrote: It started off a little slow for me, but it turned out to be a pretty sweet adventure film! It reminds me a little of In Search Of The Castaways (both are Disney movies), although its nowhere near as good in my opinion. I would still recommend this movie as worth watching though :)
Ethan P (mx) wrote: Rebel Without A Cause is about a young man who has a lot of anger and passion, but no way to express his discontent and in a lot of ways the movie feels like that too. The movie has plenty of energy and lots of crazy things happen, but some of the scenes make no sense and others do but have no reason. I didn't realize it while I was watching the movie, but James Dean and the film itself are a reflection of the struggle to become an adult and self discovery. Sometimes you do run around with your head cut off and do stuff for no reason and you have the passion and the energy but aren't sure yet how to use it and that's what this movie felt like. Lost, complicated and reckless, just like high school.
