I still don't understand why Jessie Misskelley Sr would let them interrogate his legally mentally challenged son to begin with. So now there out, but all convicted murders, while the real killer is still out there somewhere.

Basically the choices made at the end are reasonable but all the mess and the double-face characters you meet during the travel.... forget about it. I wouldn't buy their reasons and excuses even if there weren't alternatives.Personally I didn't like it a lot and suggest to go for better acted, with shorter songs and a better plot movie

Pursuing all the films in Danny Peary's Cult Movies, and his review was almost exactly the things that I'd thought watching it. Except I was even more fascinated by the Madge character and her attitude to her marriage.
