Luke Ford and Rachael Taylor have amazing talent and a bright future ahead of them as does Sean Faris ( hottie from Never back down and brother of Cindy from Scary movie)
Gabriela F (jp) wrote: I greatly enjoyed the movie! Probably a little more than the rest because I'm Uruguayan myself and in the 94 minutes this film lasted I was transported back to my home town of Montevideo. The dialogue is great but will be better appreciated by Uruguayans/Argentineans that understand the jargon used which gives this movie a different dimension from the very basic and quite bland English CC adaptation. The characters are very well developed... I almost feel like I spent a day hanging out, getting to know them. The use of repetition to show the monotonous nature of their life greatly reminded me of Whisky (another film from these directors) and was very effective in engaging the viewer, making us feel for them. For those of us who are past the difficult teenage years, we get to let a big sigh out at the end of the movie (thank God those days of uncertainty are over!) I am very impressed by the talent of Rebella and Stoll, this was their first film and they certainly proved themselves to be valuable members of the film community! You will enjoy many laughs :)

Kilo D (de) wrote: A visceral smash to the face of a movie, "Made in Britain" hit me so hard the first time, I had to watch it twice in a row. Alan Clarke is a brilliant director, his steadi-cam shots work as magnets that suck the viewer into the action and his camera work is nothing less than poetic. The drama is well-written, yet I I fear the nihilistic and pessimistic philosophy mixed with a racial one will be attractive to the wrong viewer--that is no fault of this movie, for it doesn't take positions, it rather opts for a mixture of satire and hard realism and leaves the moral examinations to the audience. Nevertheless, "Made in Britain" is powerful, riveting, and monumental filmmaking that is equal measures haunting and gorgeous.
ANDERSON G (nl) wrote: "Where the Wild" has a very striking beginning, not only for those who has a child alone, but also so that was a brother or older sister who neglected her brother or father who can not give the necessary attention to child (a), it really grabs the viewer, much also for the great performance of Max Records, we all knew that the film it was not solely that, but he had an adventure behind, although at some point the message that the film passes is confused, Spike Jonze script is linear, photography of the film is great, as the characterizations of the monsters as fear and at the same time not really are great, as the soundtrack is also good mixing children's songs the melancholic, "Where the Wild Things are" is a film average to good, but it is beautiful to see, shows the world's view of a child without friends, about friendship, about the importance of family residence, and technically it it is also good (do not understand why there are so many negative reviews), is not a children's film is a film for you help learn how to interpret all the feelings that they have, do not watch "Where the monsters live" hoping to have a cinematic experience or a life lesson, watch for fun and have a different view about people, their relationships and the world.Forgive my English by google translator.

Jim H (mx) wrote: It's such an uninspired, problematic and predictable story that cast and crew don't even try to at least make it look different. The only thrill, perhaps, is when you learn that it was originally planned as a low-budget feature for 200,000$ when a studio adopted it and threw in more than 30,000,000$.
