Sean D (nl) wrote: Not as horrible as it's forest and non-snow counterpart Bigfoot that cams out four years later. Also, no CG in this one. Bigfoot was CG and every death looked horrible. This one wasn't too cheesy, but the Yeti looked horrendously ugly. The entire film is basically a survival horror with no real progression, it's just a very slow paced film.

Jeff S (de) wrote: This movie was a joke.. literally. I was laughing out loud at just how bad it was at points, definitely bordering on "so bad it's good territory". So don't get me wrong, it wasn't the "dark humour" that had me laughing, it was the stupidity (though I admit Hornsby's character had me cracking up at times). But seriously, this film was just trash, and Mena Suvari's acting made me want to gouge my eyes out (no wonder she faded into obscurity post-American Beauty). You could tell this was a low budget project, and not in a good way. But I will say I was pleasantly surprised by Stephen Rea, his character at least got me to the finish.

Carolyn G (us) wrote: I can't even remember how I found this movie the first time but I just stumbled across it again on satellite and enjoyed it all over again. The only two cast members with any name recognition are Keri Russell and Catherine Hicks. The rest seemed to have dropped in from nowhere, then dropped out just as quickly after. A cute story with a lot of silly humor. We need more fun flicks like this!

In regards to notable other actors it has the guy from the First Mummy movie the undead Mummy bad guy and all. He has a South African accent.Ohh and it is one of John Woo early movie he brought you other movies like Face Off.Not a kiddie flick but enjoyable for the oldies :)

Brian C (br) wrote: Intriguing storyline with lots of subtle scares and plotlines. Acting was good overall except for Matthew Modine who just seemed to phone it in.The ghost story was really decent, although predictable. Olivia Williams was really good, as was the daughter. Some of the CGI ghost stuff was a bit much, and takes you out of the scene.

Katelyn B (mx) wrote: This movie sucks. The stories within the movie had nothing to do with anything. It was all random and weird.
